I've bought a Wii U a while ago and started to play some old Super Mario games...of course Nostalgia hit me right in the guts 
Also, I've a little challenge running with a friend here on dA (though she's already finished) to redraw an old Mario pic of mine...and before doing so I needed some practice. I have no idea how to draw Mario characters *SHOT* And I didn't want to simply continue with my old style...I wanted to add new things to it, mix it up...and shit, that's the first Mario I've drawn in YEARS. With Raccoon Power-Up, cuz it's still my favorite
Apparently, I also have no idea how backgrounds in Super Mario work again...or clouds? Or colours?? HOW DO I ART??? D8 btw the cloud's face is like 'Sempai noticed me again...AFTER ALL THIS YEARS'
Sorry for the bad quality, I had the genius idea to draw this into my tiny sketchbook, that's why everything looks like shit.

The quality could be better, but other than that, it's already rather well-colored. I'm not a big fan of the faces... but they look fine.
I've always preferred Tanooki over Racoon, but I must admit the tail and ears look well-drawn here.
Overall, ignoring the not-so-good quality, it looks rather well drawn (and well colored, too).
